April Poetry Reading in Ridgefield!

April 19 @ 2:00 pm 4:00 pm

April is Poetry Month!

We are thrilled to partner with the Ridgefield Art Gallery to host a monthly celebration of art and poetry. We hope you’ll join us at the next one on Sunday, April 19th from 2-4 pm, whether as a reader or an audience member!

We meet at the Ridgefield Art Gallery in downtown Ridgefield on the third Sunday of each month for an afternoon of poetry and light refreshments. Bring something to read or just come to listen and enjoy the community. It’s an incredibly welcoming crowd for new and experienced readers alike, and PN Farm Arts writers are well-represented in the line-up and in the audience. You are invited to share new or old work, related to the monthly theme or just work that needs to be heard.

The gallery mounts a new show each month. This month’s featured artist is Molly Barnes, and I promise you don’t want to miss her gift for color and form! Poets are invited to browse the gallery before the reading if you would like to share work in response to something from the show. This month’s theme is Spring to Life and the opening reception is Saturday, April 4th from 5-7.

There will be light snacks available at the reading, and the gallery will be open for sales before and after the event.

If you have questions and/or would like to read, please feel free to email us and we’ll get you on the list (or just answer your questions)! No RSVP needed, but space is limited, so be sure to arrive on time for best choice of seats!

Accessibility Note: This event takes place in the Ridgefield Art Gallery at the corner of Main and Pioneer. There is limited seating available, and we are happy to make space for wheel chairs as needed. There are no restroom facilities on site, but there is an accessible public restroom just across the street in the lovely Overlook Park.
