Stitch the Winter with Nicki Eybel

Come get cozy with needles and thread!
We will warm up our fingers with needle and embroidery floss” in the first 2 hours, stitching a small sampler of 4-6 stitches. . In the afternoon we will then practice some of the those stitches creating bare branch and evergreen winter trees. We can look out the windows at the Farm, or use our imaginations. Simple, sweet, cozy and creative. New stitchers welcome!
Coffee, tea, water and light snacks will be provided. Please bring a sack lunch and anything you need to be comfortable. Materials will be provided.
Please note: This workshop takes place in a historic home that is not wheelchair accessible. We will work to accommodate access however we can, but recommend that you email arts@pnfarm.com to confirm the space will work for you before you commit to the workshop!
About our teacher:
Nicki Eybel is a newly retired early childhood educator. She is now a mixed media collage artist, lately focusing on abstract stitching. As a member of the Columbia Fiber Arts Guild, she is active in the Handstitching Group and has enjoyed a daily stitching practice for the last 2 years. She has exhibited in local locations. She earned her Stitching Badge as a Girl Scout long, long ago. You can explore her work here.
